 Athena makes a cameo appearance in Injustice: Gods Among Us and in the Year Four comic series.

Biography

Athena is the daughter of Zeus and his first wife, Metis, a goddess of prudence, although several myths claim she sprang fully adult and fully armored from the head of her father. As a child, she accidentally slew her best friend, Pallas, daughter of the sea-god, Triton, but added her name to her own out of respect. Athena was one of the primary gods of Greece and became a patron goddess of the Amazons later becoming ally to the modern heroine, Wonder Woman.

Injustice: Gods Among Us

Athena appears during Wonder Woman's pre-fight sequence, giving her the Lasso of Truth before vanishing.
