I've noticed a lot of links to Batman's page are red on many quote pages. There is no "Batman (Bruce Wayne)" page. This is only a "Batman" page. Just thought I'd clear that up
Me personally, I think the main villain should be Nekron. Now for those who don't know, Nekron is the leader of the Black Lantern Corps, and is the main antagonist of the DC crossover event "Blackest Night." Nekron believes that life and light are unnatural, and thus sends out Black Power Rings to find deceased DC characters, and ressurect them as mindless ghouls. The rings even access the deceased characters memories, and try to force emotions out of their living targets. Once they get emotion, they rip the victims heart out.
The main reason I think Nekron should be the villain of Injustice 3 is because 1. A lot of characters have died in the games and comics, and it seems death is harder to reverse in the Injusticeverse. So by ressurecting deceased characters as Black Lanterns, Neathrealm can keep the roster going. 2. With so many characters dead, this is the perfect time for Nekron to strike, because he has tons of deceased characters to ressurect. Just read the list of deceased characters on this wiki and you'll see that the Injusticeverse to Nekron, is a candy store to a sweetooth.
The only drawback of having Nekron as the main villain of 3, is that "Blackest Night", despite being a major crossover series, was mostly part of the Green Lantern mythology, and it took all the Lantern Corps to stop Nekron. Some characters normally not found in Green Lantern comics even temporily became Lanterns. Flash became a Blue Lantern, Wonder Woman became a Star Sapphire, Mera became a Red Lantern, Scarecrow became a Yellow Lantern, the Atom became a Indigo Lantern, and Luthor became an Orange Lantern.
With Wonder Woman evil, Ray Palmer dead, and Luthor good, and dead, the Star Sapphires, Indigo Tribe, and Orange Corp might need new tempts. Of course that's all assuming the Lantern Corps actually GET temp members from other parts of the DC universe in Injustice 3.
So if making temp lanterns won't work for Injustice, any ideas on how other aspects of the DC universe could stop Nekron?
Batman or Superman's? And why.
